Real Name: Charles Xavier
Nemesis: Magneto
Group Affiliation: X-Men
Power: Telepathy
Family: Brother-Juggernaut

Charles Xavier, one of the greatest minds on the planet, is also one of the world's most powerful mutants. He possesses numerous psionic powers, including the ability to read minds and project his own thoughts into the minds of others. Professor X founded the Xavier Institute as a place where mutants can live in safety as they learn to refine their abilities.
A farsighted man, Professor X is gathering every mutant he can find (and persuade) to attend his Xavier Institute, which he has founded as a place where mutants can refine their powers in order to fully control them.
Professor X believes that mutants are essentially no different from other people, and that once they learn to control their strange powers they will be able to fit comfortably into society. This philosophy runs counter to that of his former colleague Magnus (a.k.a. Magneto), who believes that Homo Superior (mutants) are the next step in evolution. Professor X fears that Magnus' extremism will lead to a mutant backlash, and is thus forced to thwart his activities, as well as those of other mutant fanatics. Should Magnus succeed in inspiring fear in humanity, then mutants will wind up being hunted, or worse...
Professor X uses his supercomputer Cerebro to scan the globe for mutants, whom he then recruits for his school. Some of the mutants will be eager to join him. Others will reject his offer, choosing to go their own way (for good or ill). Outwardly, the Professor is kindhearted and warm, someone you can turn to when you feel bad. However, he can be secretive and even manipulative -- usually toward the end of protecting his students and mutant-kind. He also has a hard bottom line. When disobeyed, he can be hard as stone, and can turn from kindly uncle to stern taskmaster in an instant. Outwardly, the Professor is kindhearted and warm, someone you can turn to when you feel bad. Powers: Strength, agility, beast-like appearance...

Meet one of the coolest teachers of Bayville High, Hank McCoy. He teaches two classes there, Chemistry where he shows students how to make cherry bombs and Gym where he supports them in anyway he possibly can. He seems like a really awesome teacher, he loves what he does and he's darn proud of it. He couldn't live without it. He loves Shakespeare and makes his students learn and recite them as a punishment instead of detention.
But his perfect teaching days will be shattered when the serum he developed to help control the beast within will stop working. All his life he succeeded in doing so but now, he's losing control and not even Xavier can help him. He and Xavier met when Hank was a teenager long ago but didn't want his help and went on for his dream of teaching.
When the serum stopped working, the beast was rampaging and almost killed the principal. Because of that, he is now a wanted fugitive. People know his real identity therefore he cannot go back. He is confined to the Xavier Institute where he'll become a teacher to young mutants.

Real Name: possibly unknown goes by Logan
Group Affiliation: X-Men
Originally from: Canada
Codename: Wolverine
Power: Heightened Senses/Healing Factor

Known only as Logan to his very few friends, Wolverine is a distant man with a past shrouded in mystery. Logan sets himself apart from the others as he tries to come to grips with his past -- where memories are reduced to a flashing series of contradictory images. Wolverine's mutant powers include his hyper-keen senses; a healing factor that enables him to survive nearly any wound, no matter how grave; and huge, unbreakable metal claws that pop out of the backs of his hands.
Wolverine will remain our resident enigma. The object of fear, awe and speculation on the part of the students, he will inspire the X-Men in good ways (providing battle tips after clandestinely watching Danger Room sessions) and bad (inspiring conflict between our core group of X-Men simply by virtue of his loner status and rebellious ways).
Wolverine will not be part of the team. Instead, he will be there as a presence, providing an ethos, the voice of rebelliousness ever creating friction on our team (whether he means to or not). Knowing the evil in people's hearts (from battling such enemies as Sabretooth), Logan knows that mutants must be proactive in terms of dealing with threats, otherwise normal folks will think of "people like us" as needing to be rounded up. In the World According to Logan, the key isn't blending in, as Xavier advocates. It's stopping the people who refuse to blend in from becoming a problem to normal people and, by extension, other mutants. Wolverine's mutant powers are his hyper-keen senses, enabling him to see farther, and in almost total darkness. He has the tracking ability of a bloodhound, and a nose just as sensitive. He can literally sense danger. He also possesses a healing factor, enabling him to survive any wound. He isn't invulnerable -- he wouldn't walk away from a downed 747 -- but no matter how badly he was hurt by the crash, within a week he'd be right as rain. Oh, and by the way, he also has these huge Adamantium claws that pop out from the back of his hands. Who put them there? Well, that's all part of Logan's missing memories, and what little he does remember about them tends to contradict everything else.
Wolverine is a scrapper; he's ornery when cornered, and loves nothing more than a good fight. But he realizes that these kids have to learn to use their powers and save the world, so he doesn't interfere with their education.

Name: Ororo Munroe
Age: in her 30's probably
Powers: Weather Manipulation
Originally from: New York
Known Family: Her nephew Evan (Spyke) and Vi her sister.

Storm is an instructor at the Xavier's institute for gifted youngsters. Her and Charles had quite a history together. They've known each other for a long time and almost seem like they're family for real. Storm is very protective of the kids in the institute and would fight for their protection.
Formerly a child-thief and teen goddess of an African tribe, Ororo Munroe now serves as a mentor to the young mutants, guiding them in the use of their powers. Ororo is able to summon extreme weather conditions -- including storm clouds, hurricane-strength winds, blizzards and lightning. But if Storm loses control of her emotions, watch out...Mother Nature has nothing on her!
Because of her affinity with "mother nature's fruits", Ororo is an all-natural girl. All you have to do is check out her room that is filled with plants.
This storm seems unstoppable doesn't she? Well, she does have a weakness. Enclosed places. At the age of 4, she was buried under the rubble for a long time. After that accident, she became claustrophobic.

Age: ??
Powers: Master of Magnetism
Originally from: Germany
Known Family: Pietro and Wanda

Humanity's days are numbered! So says Magneto, the Brotherhood's master manipulator. Like Professor X, Magnus is a visionary. But the realization of this evil mutant's vision would result in nothing less than the utter ruination of mankind!
Whereas Xavier looks forward to a day when man and mutant will live together in peace, Magneto sees Homo superior as the next step in human evolution. Magnus is the personification of the Professor's fears: His stance will force humanity to hate and fear him -- and by extension, all mutants!

Name: Raven Darkholme
Age: mid 30's maybe...
Power: Shape-Shifting
Originally from: Germany? Many possibilities...
Known Family: her son Kurt Wagner

Mystique (a.k.a. Raven Darkholme) is an adult. She is a shape-shifter who can infiltrate even the most heavily guarded areas. (Note: Although she can assume any shape, she cannot emulate anyone's powers.)
Ever the master manipulator, Mystique will guide the young mutants (good and bad alike) by disguising herself as the principal of Bayville High. She will use this position to insinuate herself into their lives. She also disguised herself as Rogue's trusty and edgy friend Misty. Who knows what she's up to right now.
Mystique seldom works alone. Rather, she surrounds herself with the most powerful thugs she can muster, usually conning them in the process. She always has a hidden agenda. She doesn't exactly care for them though, she keeps a really clean room for herself and leaves the rest of the trashy house for her minions. Not very polite.
